We are looking for natural leader to support our General Manager.

Duties

  • Ensures all dishes that are served are visually appealing and cooked to perfection in a timely manner
  • Communicates with management about concerns regarding stock levels, workflow, equipment and employee issues
  • Adheres to company standards in regards to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Assists the management with inventory by accurately counting stock, recording waste, entering inventory data, and reconciling invoices
  • Works with other leaders to ensure there always is supervision present for rush services
  • Maintains an inspection ready restaurant including kitchen and storage areas during their shift
  • Ensures all food preparation is completed to company standards and on time with minimal wastage
  • Checks the logs, systems and procedures within the kitchen such as prep lists and cleaning logs to confirm they are completed to specifications
  • Maintains an organized and clean restaurant during their shift (e.g. food rotation and cleanliness in storage areas)
  • Achieves positive results when audits and checks are complete that ensures the adherence to brand standards for service, quality, safety and cleanliness
  • Acts as a role model for employees by upholding all standards, policies and operating systems
  • Trains new and current employees on proper customer service practices, preventative maintenance, safe food handling, etc.
  • Resolves guest complaints and escalations adhering to business policies

Requirements

  • Secondary School Completion
  • Minimum six months of experience in similar role.
  • Ability to legally work in Canada
