Job description:
Required: Distribution Supervisor
VA Transport Inc.
Brampton, ON
Job duties for this position include:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of distribution center staff including production clerks, shippers and receivers while responsible for running the operations.
- Formulate reports regarding inventory and other matters.
- Coordinating timely storage and delivery of products and materials.
- Assign duties to workers and prepare work schedules with the management/ownership.
- Resolve customer complaints when needed.
- Maintaining reports and checking bills, receipts for deliveries and shipments
- Determine staffing requirements and resolve any issues such as work schedule changes, sick calls, additional staffing requirements.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment and follow all company protocols.
- Maintaining necessary communication with other departments.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Salary: $ 26.76 per hour
Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
