To make the service more effective, we are looking for one experienced Food and beverage server in this location. You will be joining an enthusiastic and energetic team of Food Servers, Food Service Supervisors, and other staff in our location.

Job requirements

Languages           :              English

Education             :              Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience          :              1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting.

• Restaurant, Lifting required between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs.
• Urban area, Cafeteria, Fast food outlet or concession
• Relocation cost not covered by employer
• Retail service establishment, Take Away Food deliveries

Work Location Information          : Above said Business Location, Relocation   costs not      covered by employer.

Work Site Environment                : Noisy, Hot, Long Standing, Busy, Fast Paced

Workers who were supervising    : Kitchen helpers, Dishwashers, Prep Cooks, Assistant Cooks

Specific Tasks to complete

• Use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• May also prepare food such as sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, milkshakes, ice cream dishes and beverages, including coffee-type drink
• Clean, peel, slice and trim food items using manual and electric appliances.
• May also portion and wrap food or put it on plates for service to patrons and package take-out food.
• Stock refrigerators, cupboards, and salad bars
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage.
• May use manual and electric appliances to clean, including operating a dishwasher.
• Often clear and clean tables, trays, and chai
• Reset tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, silverware, glasses, and dishe
• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
• Recommend wines that complement patrons' meals
• Serve food and beverages
• Prepare and serve specialty foods at patrons' tables
• Present bill to patrons and accept payment
• May order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
• May perform sensory evaluation of wines.
