Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Owner, an Operations Vice-President is mainly responsible for formulating strategies, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance during the course of business.
- Participate in establishing objectives for the company and formulating polices and programs tailored to the food wholesale market.
- Manage and distribute material, human, and financial resources to implement company’s policies and programs.
- Coordinate the work of various regions and departments to ensure seamless operations in food distribution.
- Organize the establishment of major department and associated senior staff positions, and integrate best practices across all level of operations.
- Approve overall personnel planning, select middle managers and executive staffs, and ensure that all company’s policies and legal procedures comply with all employees.
- Act as the company’s representative in negotiation contracts and other official functions.
Qualifications and Requirement:
- A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance, economics or other discipline related to the service provided is required.
- Experience in senior manager position in overseeing a wide range of operations in food wholesale trade industry is required.
- 2 years experience as a middle manager in food wholesale trade industry is preferred.
- Broad cross-cultural and international experience (Asian Pacific and North American) with wide resources and connections in supply-chain, international trade, and logistic industry is an asset.
