Responsibilities: Use sanding equipment to prepare various types of surfaces for refinishing and renovation of residential buildings; Apply stains, sealants, and finishers according to project specifications and customer preferences; Conduct quality check to ensure smooth, even finishers and proper adherence to safety standards; Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and timely; Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety; Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including orbital sanders, belt sanders, hand sanders, brushes, and spray guns, to achieve a smooth surface preparation; Blend, pour, and distribute materials like concrete and asphalt; Install and operate sanding machines, edgers, as well as hand and power tools to ready surfaces for finishing; Read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and other specifications to comprehend surface requirements accurately; Prepare surfaces by addressing gaps, rectifying imperfections, and sanding to achieve a smooth surface.
