Job Title: Ticketed Heat & Frost Mechanical Journeyperson Red Seal Insulator (NOC 72321)

Salary: $37 per hour

Job Outline:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Heat & Frost Mechanical Journeyperson Red Seal Insulator to join our team. As an Insulator, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation materials to ensure energy efficiency, safety, and comfort in various industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Measure and cut insulation materials to the required size using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate fitting and coverage.
2. Apply insulation materials using appropriate techniques such as taping, stapling, gluing, and wiring to secure them in place.
3. Seal joints and seams of insulation with waterproof or heat-resistant materials to prevent air leaks, moisture penetration, and energy loss.
4. Fabricate insulation components and protective coverings as needed.
5. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
6. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and report any malfunctions or deficiencies promptly.
7. Doing insulation on mechanical room finished with canvas, PVC.
8. Insulation on duct and piping outdoor finished by metal, caulking.
9. Insulation on commercial building domestic water, line chilled water line, air duct.
10. Doing fire stopping.
11. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate insulation installations with other construction activities.
12. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues.

Requirements:

1. Valid Journeyman or Red Seal certification in Heat & Frost Insulation.
2. Demonstrated experience working as an Insulator in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
4. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and tools.
