Wage: $32.50 per hour (full-time position; 40 hours per week)
Location of Work: Various locations across Toronto (GTA)
Job Description:
Ÿ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Ÿ Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Ÿ Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Ÿ Fit and install trim work, windows, doors, stairs, cabinets, mouldings and hardware
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding: bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.; Noisy, Dusty; Millwork/pre-fab shop work
Job Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in finish carpentry
