JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Etobicoke, ON M9W 5E3
Salary: $57.25 per hour for 30 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees department and company’s operations and will be responsible for policy-making, operational responsibilities, and budgeting.
- Drive the company’s objectives, both long term and short term and ensure compliance with the company’s standards, policies, and code of conduct.
- Provide a clear sense of direction and purpose for the entire team, motivating them to work towards common goals.
- Driving optimization of productivity through strategic planning; will be in charge of formulating and implementing long-term strategies.
- Assess and improvise organizational effectiveness through dynamic processes
- Oversee the workforce through a well-established and secure environment that is highly motivating and rewarding.
- Exploring and pursuing opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Providing guidance and timely feedback to nurture and strengthen subordinates and build a talent pool of skilled and accomplished employees
- Create and oversee budgets, monitor financial performance, and make investment decisions.
- Assess market trends, competitive forces, and internal capabilities to make informed decisions about the organization’s future direction.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees, fostering a positive work culture and providing growth opportunities.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, investors, and the Director.
- Lead efforts to stay competitive and relevant by fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Robust and agile decision-making capabilities
- Exemplary negotiation ability combined with excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills that command honor and respect in the industry
- Accomplished track-record of development and sustenance of financial strategies and plans
- Charisma to propel, inspire and trigger growth through effective and motivational people management skills that delegates responsibilities and drill down accountability
- Operational expertise of policies, procedures, and regulations that govern the industry
- Proven experience of 5 years or more in a senior leadership role.
