Job description:
Location: Cambridge, ON N1S 5C3
Salary: $34.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and project specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain websites, ensuring functionality and responsiveness across various platforms and devices.
- Implement user interfaces based on design mockups, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Develop server-side logic, databases, and APIs to enhance website functionality and facilitate data exchange.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others.
- Conduct thorough testing of websites and applications to identify and fix bugs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes in the codebase.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard websites against potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability to enhance user experience.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible with various devices and screen sizes.
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college diploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field is the minimal educational requirement.
- Clear English communication skills to collaborate with team members and potential clients.
- Prior experience of 2 to 3 years is essential for this job.
- Proficiency in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and many more.
- Strong coding and programming skills with an emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Understanding of web design principles and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience in testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of web applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize code.
