Sales Supervisor at Proud Refrigerators Inc.

Proud Refrigerators Inc. (dba Proud Refrigerator) is a distributor of food and restaurant equipment such as commercial refrigerators, freezers, ovens, cooking and beverage equipment, sink and dishwashers, food warmers, holding cabinets, etc. We also conduct business in leasing and renting the equipment. We have been expanding our business and we are currently looking for a Sales Supervisor who can support the employer in sales department.

Position: Sales Supervisor

Wage: $22.60 - $23.60 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Work Location: 2725 Lake City Way, Burnaby, B.C. V5A 2Z6

Job Duties:

• Ensure all sales transactions are properly proceeded and approve return or refund of products;
• Resolve appropriately inquiries and issues in customer service, payments, products, and orders as needed;
• Ensure all products and selling areas are properly received, stocked, and displayed.
• Supervise, support, and work with sales staff and monitor performance through training, coaching and feedback;
• Assign tasks to and prepare and monitor schedules for sales staff and cover sales staff duties as needed;
• Place order for supplies, maintain the inventory and handle managerial duties including opening and closing and signing for deliveries as needed;
• Analyse, prepare, review and submit regular sales reports;
• Participate in hiring and training new sales staff as needed to ensure high standards are maintained.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required;
• At least 1 year of previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent is required;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
