Required Early Childhood Educator
Apples & Angels Montessori School and Day Care

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
- Create and put in motion child-care programs to build the emotional, cognitive, physical, and social development of children.
- Always maintain a healthy environment for the well being and safety of children
- Evaluate children’s stages of development and interests to come up with progress report and improvement plan with parents and other staff.
- Promote healthy skills in children such as sharing, cooperation, problem solving etc.
- Be observant with children that might show signs of behavioral & learning issues to be discussed with senior staff and parents.
- Maintaining records for students in regard to health, attendance, activities and progress.
- Be a guide to children as they learn the right way of eating, dressing and toilet habits.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
- Attending regular staff meetings for problem solving and improvements.

Key Requirements:
- Completion of College/CEGEP
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- ECE Certificate
- Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Language: English
Salary: CAD$ 23.86/hour. Full-time permanent position
