GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Production Team Members are responsible for the cooking, inspection, and packaging of our egg products and other related activities in a fast-paced industrial food processing environment. We are looking for people who are detail oriented, committed to the safety and quality of the food products we produce, and who take initiative to resolve problems

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cooking, inspecting, and packaging our finished eggs and egg products for various customers
• Clean workstations and equipment
• Notice the details, and take steps to solve problems, while performing repetitive tasks
• Repetitive lifting of up to 30 lbs for feeding and unloading food products
• Resolve quality issues while demonstrating a high work ethic
• Able to work on flexible shifts with occasional overtime for 40 hours per week
• Work as a team and independently in a food production environment 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s would be an asset
• Safe food handling procedures and wearing proper PPE

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous food processing experience is preferred
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced workplace
• Previous factory or equivalent experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our plant is a food processing industrial environment, which requires temperature regulated areas for the safe production of our eggs and egg products. As such the cooking areas of our facility require workers to work in hot and humid conditions. Our refrigeration and freezing processes require workers to work in cold and moist conditions.

$17.85 - $20.20 per hour
Move through the wage range at 500, 1000 and 1500 hours.

LOCATION OF WORK

This position is based in Brockville, ON (260 Central Avenue, Brockville, ON, K6V 4N8) and occasionally in Lyn, ON (3356 County Rd. #27, Lyn, ON, K0E 1M0).
