Duties:

West Rich Auto Services is looking for a full time and permanent workers for the position of automotive technician. A qualified candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, conditioner recharges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations.
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer’s problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Inspect and repair vehicle by using computer and electronic systems.
• Repair or replace parts that are worn or not working properly and replace them with new or used parts.
• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the work done.
• Maintain accurate paperwork to record problems and work records.
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Advise customers on work performed and discuss options with the clients.
• Perform other duties as required

Wages:

$33.75 /hr for 40 hours a week

Skills Requirement:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program

                                 Or

• A combination of 3 years of work experience in the same trade and some high school, college or industry in heavy equipments repair is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Ability to work in long hours and weekends.
• Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job such as bending, crouching and kneeling.
• Must be reliable, flexible and a good team player.
