Position Summary
- Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of steel structures including carports, garages, RV shelters, sunrooms, floating boat docks, steel pole barns, and more;
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior construction workers to complete tasks efficiently and accurately;
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently;
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites;
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment;
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labour for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hand power tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work at different job sites
- Ability to communicate in English;
